Berlin Natural Bakery is happy to share a delicious recipe from one of our remarkable customers using the Angel Food Spelt Cake. Our thanks to Elizabeth Gilhuly for sharing such a scrumptious frosting recipe. We can’t wait to try it. Elizabeth's Angel Food Cake Frosting 1 bar unsweetened chocolate 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil 2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract Maple syrup or coconut syrup Dash of Himalayan sea salt 1) Melt the bar of chocolate on the stove on low; stirring constantly 2) Add the 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil and melt 3) Add vanilla and sea salt 4) Drizzle in maple syrup or coconut syrup, stirring constantly, until desired sweetness is reached Pour over your angel food cake and let sit to solidify about 10 minutes or eat straight away to experience warm chocolate syrup cake! Sprinkle maple sugar or coconut sugar on top to garnish if you like.
