I know we’re still a few days away from Thanksgiving but my heart is so full (as is my to-do list!) that I frequently find myself meditating on all that I have the honor to be thankful for.

I will be heading to my Mom’s house for Thanksgiving and I know that there will be a staggering amount of homemade food, good memories and good people waiting for me there.

My Mom has always done Thanksgiving with excellence. When I was younger, I used to think she went all out making everything from scratch and laboring for days beforehand because it was simply something she enjoyed doing. Now, while that may be partly true, I realize that the biggest force driving her to create a lavish, delicious, loving and warm Thanksgiving is her love for us – her family. And for that, I am astoundingly grateful.

We’re certainly not the perfect family – we have our strengths and our weaknesses but we all try. We all try to be a little kinder, a little more understanding, a little less selfish and a little more generous every day. We actively stay connected even outside of Berlin Natural Bakery details and it is in our hearts to show each other our love even if it comes out a little sarcastically at times. And for that, I am astoundingly grateful.

We work and live and grow with all the people who give us their time and their excellence at Berlin Natural Bakery. The honorable people who show up here every single day with a heart to work hard and do their best for us absolutely humble us. They bring their gifts and their strengths every single day to make sure that your bread is baked, our details are covered and that Berlin Natural Bakery lives to see another day. And for that, I am astoundingly grateful.

But we all know that there is more to be grateful for than just each other – there’s you and thousands of people like you all over the country!

We are grateful for the many ways in which you keep Berlin Natural Bakery alive and well and thriving. We are thankful for those of you who pick up a loaf of our bread at your local health food store every single week. We are thankful for those of you who order from us every single month (or even more frequently!) via our website. We are thankful for those of you who place orders and have them shipped to your friends and/or family because they simply have to try our products. We are thankful for those of you who interact with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. In fact you all are just about the kindest souls I have had the opportunity to connect with and for that, I am astoundingly grateful.

You all are the very heartbeat of Berlin Natural Bakery and the way you go above and beyond to support us and share our message truly humbles us.
